I have always been a big believer that it’s the person taking the photo, not the camera. So use whatever camera you have, whether it’s your phone or your point and shoot, whatever, just go out and shoot. Explore.
For me, photography is capturing beautiful, spectacular and expressive sceneries or moments. The observer should feel something when he sees the picture. For example, when somebody looks at my pictures I hope he desires being at this place. I also appreciate that I can capture moments of a whole trip. When I see the pictures later, I have again some of the feelings I had while I was on the journey.
My name is Brayden Elliott and I'm from 'the gap' (Saskatchewan) as some people call it. I'm currently in between jobs, which leaves more time for photography and hopefully travel. I grew up in Saskatoon and travelled all the way to Lloydminster for college where I took business classes in between basketball practices which seems like ages ago. I won a three point competition in an Asian basketball tournament one time.
